Music/soundscape creation for dancers

About the workshop:
The objective of this workshop is to provide some basic tools to create your own show and create a universal vocabulary for the language in common between composers of music/sound and artists from other disciplines who are curious and have sound ideas and wish to create their own show.
Participants will use a simple but effective software for the realization of a sound environment, and have fun with sound materials, play, shape, and create a first sound environment for performance.

Biography:
Clelia Patrono is a Musician, composer, and sound artist, currently living in Brussels.
She specializes in composition, sound design, sound editing, and original musical compositions/soundscapes for moving images, corporate videos, commercials and podcasts as well as theater and contemporary dance.
Clelia started her musical path when she was 14 years old in the south of Italy. Guitarist in several bands from 2008 to the present day climbing the stages of major festivals such as WomadAdelaide 2013 (NZ) Shrewsbury 2013 (UK) she approached with passion in music passing from dub reggae in the early years of her training to electronic, trip-hop, electroacoustic and sound design.
She is currently the producer and guitarist of the Italian band hereh.
Clelia studied guitar and songwriting at Saint Louis College of Music, in Rome. In 2013, driven by her passion for electronic music and visual communication, she studied Media Art at the Academy of Visual Arts (DE), and in 2016 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Music at the Music Conservatory Licino Refice, in Frosinone-ROME (IT). Clelia works as both a composer and sound designer.
