About the workshop:
?
Biography:
Of French-Cameroonian origin, Bruce “Ykanji” Soné, dancer, teacher as well as entrepreneur, has been working in the field of show business and dance for 25 years.
He started dancing at the age of 8 and his talent allowed him to launch his career in 1997, to work with the musical “Les Dix Commandements” and artists such as MC Solaar, Mis-Teeq, Jean-Michel Jarre, Nekfeu…
Bruce “Ykanji”’s first desire is to make dance evolve on a worldwide level and to make sure that dancers are more recognized.
In 2002, he created the Juste Debout event, now the largest international meeting of Hip Hop dance.
In 2009, he co-founded the Juste Debout School in Paris. His goal is to teach and popularize stand-up Hip Hop dance. The school delivers a diploma to students wishing to become professionals. It is in continuous development of national and international projects.
Even today, Bruce continues to bounce back from the current context. After the health crisis of 2020, he launched the Top on The Floor application, which aims at valorizing and financially rewarding dancers based on their ranking at various dance events
