TAKING TIME TO SENSE, TAKING TIME TO IMPROVISE

Do you truly dare to listen to what your senses are telling you? In the daily rush, we often ignore the subtle signals of our own bodies. This all-day research workshop is an invitation to tune out the noise and return to the essence.

Who is it for? Everyone. Truly everyone. Whether you are a trained dancer or have never consciously moved before, young or old, disabled or non-disabled: your unique perspective is exactly what we need.

The Rhythm of the Day
• The Ignition: We kick off with a gentle awareness warm-up to land in your body and sharpen your senses.
• The Deep Dive: Until lunch, we embark on a guided exploration through your senses.
• The Surrender: After a restorative siesta, we flow into an uninterrupted improvisation. Inspired by the morning’s experiences and guided by my suggestions, but fully driven by your intuition.
• The Harvest: We come together at the end of the day to share experiences and reflect on what surprised us.
A Safe Haven
My aim is to create a space where you can trust your gut completely. A place to play, to take yourself seriously, and—most importantly—to surprise yourself.
What to bring in your bag:
• A (yoga) mat, blanket, and pillow (for maximum comfort)
• A blindfold and earplugs (to filter out the outside world)
• A notebook, paper, and (colored) pencils
• A book you love or small objects that are dear to you

Good to know:
Since we have exclusive use of the studio all week, you can leave your belongings there overnight. And a small challenge: please leave your smartphone at home or keep it turned off during the day. Give yourself the luxury of being completely unreachable.
