Freeform

Freeform is a dynamic laboratory designed to explore movement and composition from the authenticity of the body in action. We manifest the body’s innate ability to express itself beyond predefined patterns, focusing on developing a deep connection between creativity and physicality. We research how to play at the limit of our own physicality, constantly bending the body and its possibilities to find new places to move freely. The training is self-demanding, adapting to unique possibilities. We seek a body that is at the disposal of creativity and vice versa, where deep impulses manifest themselves without restrictions.

The dynamics of the workshop leads the group to actively play with the creation of bodily, spatial and energetic compositions, in which their movement is the main detonator. Through solo, duet, trio and group exercises, each participant takes their dance to new limits, and the group inspires itself to continue to develop.

The pillars of the training are: connectivity, displacement, interconnectivity, quality/quality and expressiveness/creativity. Using these principles as catalysts, the class evolves according to the group.
