TICTAC
ART CENTRE

Tictac is an alternative art center situated in Brussels, Belgium. Since its opening in 2018, it has already gained worldwide recognition as a place where various art forms—such as dance, performance, painting, fashion design, and other visual and performance arts—come together and coexist under one roof.
Back in 2018, David Zambrano and Mat Voorter decided to open an emerging space full of art, color and inspiration where artists could gather, collaborate, and create. Tictac also serves as Zambrano’s artistic home, where he continues to share his pedagogic and artistic views. In that way, Tictac has become a house for improvisation as an artform in the heart of Europe.
The art center is open for artists with innovative ideas who are willing to share them in the frames of dance workshops, regular dance classes, crude performances, visual arts and performance residencies, and exhibitions.
Tictac operates without structural funding – it is an independent initiative by, with and for artists, offering the space for the diverse encounter and collaboration of different bodies, creative minds and artists. Tictac has grown into a vibrant melting pot for the art community – a home that opens its arms to artists from all over the world, a place for inspiration to share and keep growing together
